Red Cross Unit Launched in Bangalore South Taluk

The Indian Red Cross Society unit for Bangalore South Taluk has been started for the first time, bringing organised Red Cross work closer to communities across the taluk.
At the annual general meeting held at the Bangalore South Taluk office, Tahsildar Smt. Ashwini G was elected President of the unit.
Members of the Managing Committee include Dr. Aditi Rao, Shri. Karthik Pakkala, Shri. M Chetan Kumar, Shri. M G Sandeep, Shri. Madhusudhana KV and Smt. Archana Ramamurthy.
Taluk office-bearers elected are Shri. Anil Bharadwaj (Chairman of the Society), Dr. Adesh J (Vice Chairman), Shri. Vinay Kashyap (Honorary Secretary) and Shri. Sachin U (Treasurer).
The President noted that humanitarian and community welfare programmes will be taken up through the Red Cross across Bangalore South Taluk. This coverage was also reported in Kannada Prabha’s Bengaluru edition.
