Dr. Aditi Rao is a Consultant Medical Gastroenterologist specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas and biliary system. She completed her DM in Medical Gastroenterology from KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research.
Her expertise includes inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), chronic diarrhoea, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver diseases, pancreaticobiliary disorders and gastrointestinal cancers. She is proficient in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, GI bleeding management and foreign body removal.
Dr. Aditi Rao is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care with a strong focus on early diagnosis, prevention and long-term digestive health.
As a Managing Committee Member of the Indian Red Cross Society – Bangalore South Taluk, Dr. Aditi Rao supports the committee in guiding branch programmes, volunteer engagement and community welfare across the taluk, bringing clinical insight to humanitarian health work.
